Additional qualification of young Bosnian engineers in the field of modern software applications

"Additional training of young engineers in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of modern software applications" is a project implemented under a development partnership agreement between Deutsche Gesellschft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH - German government development agency and BerDiz Consulting AB (doo) Gothenburg, in cooperation with Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University "Džemal Bijedić" Mostar and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Mostar.

The aim of the project is to improve the availability of knowledge and information in the field of modern software applications for young engineers in the final years of study. Through this unique professional training, students significantly improve their knowledge of the basic technical areas they acquired during their studies.

In this way, they actively prepare for their future job, increase their competitiveness in the labor market and become much more ready to solve the real engineering problems that await them after graduation.

Within the project "Qualification of young Bosnian engineers in the field of modern software applications" students are trained to work with modern software tools ANSYS and PIPESTRESS.

ANSYS is engineering simulation software that helps engineers check in advance that the construction of their new design is strong enough and safe to use, without the need to build multiple prototypes, saving a lot of time and money. It is used by engineers around the world in almost all areas of engineering from classical mechanical engineering to aeronautics, automotive, biomedicine, construction, electronics, heavy equipment and machinery / machines, microelectromechanical systems.

PIPESTRESS the engineers are ft ver intended design and budget piping systems in at ft ostrich, gas, nuclear, chemical and petrochemical industries and various so-called m power plants.

It allows engineers to design and analyze complex pipe systems intended for various technological processes and exposed to various so-called m loads during exploitation.

After a unique professional training, students will be able to work with software used by engineers in industrialized countries of the world and without which work and development in the field of modern mechanical engineering is impossible today.
