The doctoral study "Politehnika" offers students a precisely structured education, including compulsory subjects that give the student a solid scientific background, research work at the level of international competitiveness with quality mentoring, and the possibility of developing knowledge transfer skills through possible engagement in university study programs. research and teaching seminars organized by the Faculties or by participating in international and domestic conferences.

Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar has signed agreements and well-established long-term scientific-teaching cooperation with universities in the country and abroad (Samsun University, Akdeniz University in Antalya, Ruhr-Bochum University, Gliwice University Poland, Cyril and Methodius University Skopje, Lleida University). Spain, Paderborn University, Germany, FH JOANNEUM University, Graz, Austria ...).

The main goal of the doctoral study is to provide students with an effective education through the implementation of original scientific research work. Upon completion of the study, the student becomes a doctor of technical sciences and is able to critically analyze, evaluate and synthesize new and complex concepts and develop new methodological procedures in scientific branches relevant to the selected field. The student is also trained for independent advanced scientific research and professional work in modeling, calculation, analysis and design of systems in these scientific branches.
